Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser storage Bad Times AI uses to keep you signed in, remember your draft and measure traffic, and how to control them.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This page lists the cookies and similar browser storage that badtimesai.org uses. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
The short version
Bad Times AI uses a few cookies that are needed for the site to work (signing in, staying signed in, theme), one that remembers how you found us, and, when enabled, analytics cookies that count visits. We do not use advertising cookies from social networks to follow you around the web.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site working. Without them you could not sign in or buy credits, so they cannot be switched off from the site.

bt-workbench-draft (session storage) | Keeps your chosen dance and photo while you sign in or check out, so you do not have to upload again | Until the tab is closed, and cleared as soon as it is restored |
Analytics (when enabled)
If we turn on an analytics tool such as Google Analytics, Plausible, Umami or Microsoft Clarity, it may set cookies or use similar identifiers to count visits, see which pages are popular and spot errors. The data is used in aggregate. Plausible and Umami can work without cookies.
| Name | Provider | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Up to 2 years |
_clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Up to 1 year |
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and stop checkout from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
